 THE REGION

Martina Radovcic and Marko Murtic discovered this magical enclave, authentic hidden valley Vitrinica in Central Dalmatia, an area full of history and pure nature.
The echo of many unforgettable summers spent in Dalmatia encouraged them to embark on a new journey. Captivated by the region’s serene beauty, they did not hesitate to undertake this new venture.
Nu olive oil came into existence, inspired by the admiration for nature and as a sincere homage to Dalmatia, a region with a deeply-rooted tradition of olive cultivation and olive oil production. The old stone walls surrounding olive trees are a perfect oasis for meditation. The olives cultivated  in this atmosphere bring a unique flavor to the oil. The taste/aroma of NU evokes the mood of an old Mediterranean olive grove.
The process of olive cultivation is carefully executed respecting the local environmental conditions. The olive maturation is monitored closely in order to pick the right moment for olives to be harvested. Handpicked one by one, olives are carefully sent to the mill each afternoon to be cold pressed that evening. The result is magnificent, green and golden-colored, grass-flavored precious liquid called the NU olive oil.
